Critique Of My Poems Received During My Freshman Year

That which is proven unremarkable

is just as easily forgettable.

And what you think your talent is toward rhyme

is subverse, substandard but not sublime.

who like to strut, parade, and boast a skill;

but tyou should keep your big mouth silent, still---

and leave acclaim, if any, to your readers.
