[after Genesis 6]

The sons of Cain,

and those grotesque mutations

born of the fallen angels' aberrations

expressed in multiple concubinations,

left their stain

and their grinning temptations

of sins unto the death

upon the sons of Seth;

and sneered at God's dominion and domain

in vulgar strain

corrupt even unto the very breath:

unpitied disbelievers

and abhorent deceivers,

and worshippers of the Untoward inane---

to faith, and hope, and love, a baleful bane

that boasted it should never die.

Then clouds began to shadow the blue sky

and released the rain . . . .
