Learn from the Gadarenes, and do not deceive

yourself:  Christ will not linger where He is not wanted;

amd after He has been invited to leave,

the Cosmos will seem dismal, and starless, and stunted.

Learn from His evenings' withdraw to Bethany,

aware of haters' politics in Jerusalem---

He did not dwell even overnight among them,

but chose, instead, a suburban hospitality.
