[after Tada Chimako's poem, "The Hot Water In"]
I love oolong's taste---
the flavor (and scent) of leaves
fallen in autumn:
since she left me, all time seems
like autumn, with winter near.

Author's Notes/Comments:
I remember my first taste of Oolong Tea, in early Autumn, 1981. Autumn in southwestern Ohio is very fragrant; and it primary scent, of fallen leaves, seems to me to be the very flavor, with each and every sip, of Oolong Tea.
