Footnote: Parody Of One Of Ezra Pound's Remarks

Author's Notes/Comments:

During the Eliot seminar I attended in the Autumn of 1978, we were told that Pound, from Italy, had broadcast a radio review of a previous radio broadcast, from Canterbury, England, of audio from the premiere of T. S. Eliot's play, Murder In The Cathedral.  Pound is said to have exclaimed, in his broadcast, "Oh my gawd them cockney voices."  This is about poetry in general, and does not refer to any specific poet's poems, on postpoems or elsewhere.
