At Cumae, The Sibyl's Shock

Feet on the ground, the Sibyl's soul was flying.

Then, suddenly, she opened both her eyes

and looked upon the now darkening skies.

She fell prone, shrieked and, with the worst of cries,

screamed out, "Take heed, yourselves:  a god is dying."

This raised, in our group, questions to discuss;

questions, and maybe, just a bit of fear---

back in the warped reign of Tiberius,

approximately in the eighteenth year.
