Epigram On Ending Every Verb With "---Ing'

The gerund or the present participle

are easily used, but they really cripple

the line of verse; which, then, sounds weakly passive,

instead of the much stronger, robut, active.

And several in a poem can cause its slowing;

and that sounds tedious, as you are knowing.

To make the point seem lazy, I am making

it:  if you take it well, oh, just be taking.
