The Beauty Of Lady Certainly's Appearance
Her casual beauty is no hollow pose---
assumed to be displayed at given cues:
a polo shirt, and faded, boot-cut jeans;
tan nylons, reinforced around the toes;
her style not compromised by need of shoes.
Dictums of glossy fashion magazines
are not meant to endorse her style of clothes,
her modest look, selected modestly,
expressive of her Christianity.
When she draws near, I feel a better mood---
one of licit desire and gratitude,
witnessed within these lines of poetry.
