They could keep Him out of Galilee.
They could not keep Him from His Ministry.
They could not keep Him from three trials
nor from three courtrooms' hateful styles.
They could not keep Him from the scourge---
the ploy that Pilate sought to urge.
They could not keep Him from the Cross
that He, Himself, counted no loss.
The could not keep Him from the tomb
nor from the souls, without the Word, in gloom.
They could not keep Him from His glorious rising,
despite some seminars' skeptic surmising.
They could not keep Him from that bright ascension:
they failed in all their efforts of prevention.
