Although some folks spoke to him in a rude
and obscene manner---words both crass and crude---
Apostle Saint John kept his pleasant mood
intact, with no fleshly desire to brood
about it, and no wish to blame or bluster.
In their sins, they shall stand in fear and fluster,
to give account to Christ---Supreme Adjuster.
