You say one thing
But mean another
I feel so confused
These mind games
Torture me everyday
How can one heal?
When all the pain
Keeps shadowing me
Chasing me around
Memories so strong
I can't escape them
And this I must say
You had me fooled
Oh my heart, so naïve
Like an infant so weak
For it's mothers breast
Insecurities embrace me
The hope for change
Dwindles away rapidly
Accepting it all as before
Like one expects the rain
Along with black clouds
Curses, those damn games
Those mind games you play
My mind so wrapped up
In this game of confusion
Playing so hard at a game
Which I may never win.
Hey Robin, how are ya. I can't believe nobody put a comment about this poem. I love it!
Don't edit it because its format perfectly matches the confusion/chaos of mindgames.
