I'll remember you
And all the things you would do
How you were always so swell
So many thing you taught me well
How your words of wisdom never died
How you were the shoulder when I cried
How you looked at me through caring eyes
Helped me with my goodbyes
How it you made me feel special
Nothing you said seemed superficial
You stood behind me all the way
Always listened to what I had to say
How you held me near
Told me it was alright to shed a tear
But most of all when you took me as your own
It was for life, not just a loan
You were mine, and I was yours
No walking in and out of closed doors
You welcomed me with open arms
Spoild me with grandma's charms
I'll remember you
Always for this I'll love you.

Robin, im so sorry you've had to go through all this lately. As for your grandmother, she sounds like a terrific person, and im glad she comforted you for the time you had her. Always remember that you said she looked beautiful that last night.
