Three Simple Words

Theres so much I'd like to say

But nothing seems to come out the right way

Just a few things I wish you'd know

Only that my feelings will only grow

These 3 simple words I truly mean

As only "words" how cheap they must seem

But know that these simple words are true

So believe me when I say "I love you".

Author's Notes/Comments: 

Sometimes the words we say lose all meaning, like they have over the past few years. Everything is so materialistic now a days but the Words "I love you" in my eyes are still more powerful, then anything, specially when they are said with truth and meaning. If you say I love you, you should mean it, don't say it if you don't.

i agree with you 100%! No one should say that unless they mean it. The words " i love u" shouldnt be used uselessly.

trudat trudat I agree. But there is so many players out there girls what or think they want to hear. That those words have gotten so watered down over the last few years. great poem keep up the great work
