I Shed a Tear

I silently told myself to be brave

As I places a rose on their grave

I held it in and smiled for you

The only thing I could think of to do

I waved you a kiss and we got in the car

From the cemetery our houses not that far

A smile of an understanding friend

But once in the house did my heart bend

I shed a tear for you

The only thing that I could do

Someone needed an angel and an angel you were

Everyday seems to pass by unclear in a blur

So as I look to the sky not so blue

I close my eyes and shed a tear for you.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

It's still so hard, and I still don't believe you guys are gone. You must have been angels and someone must have needed you. Thinking of you always. Miss you.

That was a really sad poem. So sad and so deep. I hope you're okay now.

I had two friends that died recently in a car accident and i wrote a poem about one them. The poem is intitled "miss ya" and after reading yours my mind went straight to it. Thank you for that poem.
