I try to tell you things
But you choose not to listen
Yet you say we never talk
That we're not like most
Were suppose to be bestfriends
Mother, daughter the perfect bond
Or so they say
But I cant tell you anything
I try so hard to win your attention
But you never seem to agree with anything I do
Then it ends up being my fault we argue
Sometimes? Maybe..
All the time? I think not
It's almost like you pick fights with me
Just for the sake of doing it
Then you wonder why I close the door on you
Saying nothing more then what I have to
Our fights seem so pointless
Yet you make them a big deal
And you wonder why I don't like talking to you
I try so hard
But you continue to wonder why
hey sorry u have to put up with the whole mother-daughter deal...we've all been there done that. sorry about ur dad, too, im sure he'd want to c u and ur mom getting along better, but we all know how teenagers' mothers can be. this is a really honest-sounding poem, hope everything works out for u in this respect.

*In my opinion* I think your mother doesnt want to loose the relationship as a mother-daughter share, maybe she wasnt that close to HER mum and she wants to make it up by being closer to you
I saw this in a movie once, thats just what I think schmidty, but you rents, theyre weird and they dont understand
Teenagers are a whole other speices
