Romeo (a fairytale romance)

I want my prince charming,riding on his steed

To come and rescue me, charging at full speed

To take me from my tower,save me from the beast

Or save me from being single atleast

Bring me freash cut roses, and cute teddy bears

Carry me to my bedroom, all the way up the stairs

To sing me love songs while he holds me tight

To say he loves me and kiss me goodnight

Sweep me off in to the sunset

Just days after we've met

I want my prince charming, just my romeo

But that will never happen it's just my fairytale romance you know.


Author's Notes/Comments: 

This wasn't really a serious poem, it came to me while watching a disney  movie with the children that I babysit. Oh if only love was like a fairytale...

lol...wishing for a Romeo isn't something that young girls should do. Doesn't anyone know that their love was a physical attraction mixed with adolescent infatuation?
