A day with my love

Is like a trip to the stars

I could never lose my way

I could never fall to far

Its hard to speak the words

that I want to say to his face

when he touches my skin

I can feel all of his grace

Its so hard to stay on the ground

floating, drifting to the sky

but it all comes so natural

as if we dont even have to try

When I look in his eyes I see the world

A tiny drop of a heaven cloud

even in the stillness of these moments

the silence can seem so loud

In an instant it can be broken

but with a sweetness on my lips like rain

though there could be so much to lose

all we've done is gain

I could never be equal

to the beauty that he holds inside

All these things I'm feeling

I could never show, but could never hide

The pedistal I placed him on

may as well be a precipice

even though I feel I don't deserve him

I hope to always be his

If I ever lost what we have

my world would come crashing down

the peices would fall all over me

and there would be nothing left to be found

I want to spend my life with him

I will always be around when he needs me

when I look into the future

he is the only image that I see

He is always in my dreams

He is always on my mind

when I walk my steps alone

he's never far behind

I hope he never leaves my side

we've been through so much in the past

but so high is my confidence

that this love will always last
