Laying so close together
darkness creeping
into the depths
of even the brightest corner
but it gives me such peace
to feel myself
skin to skin with a body
that holds such a glowing heart
that opens itself up to all the world
because I could never do such a thing
a heart that lights this whole room
even the blackest corner
it lights the coldest
depths of my own body
our souls fly together
upon the ceiling
and I am at peace
laying in the arms
of a body that lights my life
and will never let me go
