but did you believe in me

in your heart you really knew

but you wouldnt let yourself see

when I opened my heart

you closed yours

the love ship had to part

it left solemly from my shores

sweet memories still linger on my mind

I want to share our love

you have left that behind

threw it down from above

only God knows how much it hurt
