ache and longing my words dissapear
falling of thier string like pearls
rushing winds carry them away
resting in someone elses heart
seeping through their thoughts
into their hands and out to the world
oh how I want to join them
spreading gorgeous drops of creation
love and spite,
weak and might
darkness and light
forgive and fight
wrong and right
poetry slips from my soul
and where it ends up nobody knows
ache and longing in my bones
my words dissapear and the hollow grows.
"the hollow grows"
Poems as pearls fall off string - letting the words fly free haphazzardly - to land on shores unknowable but welcome. Enjoyed the voyage, as always. - slc.
