Now lets see what this poem brings
in the form of life in written things
I want it to rhyme on every occasion
but it doesnt always work out that way.
but getting a poem back on track is an easy thing,
I just dont worry about anything.
I let the words fall on the pages as they must
a process that I have learned to trust.
not everything has to rhyme and
I dont like rhyming for rhymes sake
and sometimes it is a hard descision I must make
I often start with nothing and let it grow from there
like writing a hidden story materialising here somewhere.
I thank God inspite of all my troubles and trials everyday,
that I still have time to reflect and pray,
and distill this lovely mead of mind and heart
and bring my tipsy soul to ease in part;
managing sometimes to help others see
in pages and pages a meaning for me
that life is for living, a challenge worth giving
to bring life into verse the good times and terse
one bringing the understanding of the other
and this is what I have to offer.
Beautiful!
