The Betterment of Me

If this violence is love
I have no other remedy
than to find its source
and pluck it out.

everything you want
is everything Im not
perhaps its time to
close all the doors

There is a better me
for you out there youll see
I will end this vhement
tragic love of misery

I will place it in a box
lined with velvet red
and cover it lovingly
with sands of borrowed time

I will look back to see
if where I left you
is where you'll be
and hope quietly
though, I could never be
that you never find
a better me.

Love this one :)

It's a beautiful poem, and I also doubt there will be a better you out there. Each life is unique, and each life has its place (thanks, Virginia Woolf for the last phrase).
