The Example

Doubters,
Don't throw old books at me,
I don't follow the letters
I follow the example
It's funny how that old book
Now defends the doubters too
It's seems you have
more use for it than I do
Read the scrolls
read the leather bound
that news is old
There's a new story
a new revelation
Accepting of us all
In any condition
there is no division
If we hear the cubed calling
Safety lies in hate not befalling
not in De-contexualised blunders
The mind never feels heaven's wonders
But soul so pliable and gullible easily
Relieves the intentions of the flesh
Hard copy versus a relationship of faith
I won't sail with this ship of fools
With the bemusings of a pirate wraith
that only wraithlike, resembles true intent
to what the example actually meant.

Author's Notes/Comments:

The shining example is the one who carries the burden of the blind. Funny too that justice is blind... There's huge push to ridicule what is revered by those who worship. This kind of hate is a sign of the times and insecurity with self serving justification. There needs to be some strong end to this selfish thoughtless process we all call living... Each to his own journey. May we all find peace and become spiritually wise regardless of religion.HugSS :) God bless you!
