Tricked for a treat
I'll never understand
Why the haters hate
And the devil keeps on trying
I told ya,
I'm not interested mate!
Pick on flimsy faults
that don't stand up
to interrogation
I'm well aware of you
crawling around inside me
Now be a good thing
and I might let you out
Don't fall back on me
for your dumb excuses
At least I have my own.
You can tell
the whole world Lies
Born of my despise
How dare I accept you
broken and full of lies?
There is no lesson
for me to learn
for it is clearly yours
I will keep on being me
Honest and true
As best I can
Well read, well versed
Totally un rehearsed
If you wish you were me
with the devil on my back
chasing me all the time
Instead of you chasing
It offering your back
trying too hard
Try coming down a peg
And stop the stupid lies
I'm here like I said anytime
The offers still open and
You can take it up anytime
I have control of who I am
Fighting those inside for me
Knowing my own mind
Never did I cause a scene
Or bring about your demise
This was all your own doing
Chasing all the time
I guess you got tricked
But it wasn't me
I couldn't be bothered
You tricked your self
To impress him and he left
now your caught out
This is your end now.

I never fake,
I never pretend
I know who I am
