Arrows of Discontent

Fire away
Take aim as do many

Fear what you do not understand
Fire all your arrows of discontent

I shall not shield my back
For it is already fraught with daggers
Hardened for life by
The burden of discontents so

Join the throngs
Join the chorus
Sing out loud about
The eye of Horus  

I shall not bind my mouth
For it is already muffled
with pearls of truth
Sweetened by the droplets
Of triumph over lacks and discontent

Join the throngs
Join the chorus
Sing out loud about
The eye of Horus  

I shall not hold my thoughts
For they are held hostage
by throngs of broken arrows
Relieved by the freedoms
Of living in mind and soul
where discontents lack

Join the throngs
Join the chorus
Sing out loud about
The eye of Horus  

I shall not fear your discontent
Look within to see your own truth
What you hate in one
you in yourself would admire
Taming your discontent
is something to aspire, so

Join the throngs
Join the chorus
Sing out loud about
The eye of Horus  

Fire away your arrows
Fling them with your might for all
Those flung forward are
reflected in a mirror filled with lack
The snap of broken arrows crack
Now pick them up again
and take them back, then

Join the throngs
Join the chorus
Sing out loud about
The eye of Horus  

Your discontent in being lacking
is not a thing to cover
And if and when you will discover
Keep your arrows and aim them higher
And lace them not with arsenic or fire
Brandish them insted with
new hope in your marrow,

For this is a better mark for an arrow

better and better and best your lack
For the discontent lies in your slack 

Rest assured you will heal
from the jealous attacks
Thus I  nor you will need
to groan and turn our backs

But build a shield of daggers
and honor Horus with a spartan crown.
