By the Most Holy Light,
May we be lit with love compassion and humility
May we revel in the unbreakable bond of blood
Annointed by the Blood of the Lamb who is the Lion of Righteousness who pulls life force into creation
That protects and redeems it
that we can always find a way into the home in our hearts,
to make way for love compassion and healing.
May we rejoice that no slight is too mighty to break the bonds of life we share
let what The most Holy put aside in Glory never be put asunder by the weakness of man and woman
Let us all always gather in gratefulness
To share more, love more, heal more, thrive more together,
may our thoughts ever be loving first and anger last,
Finding light in our differences and fend off the dark, strengthen and weld our desire to stay close
To share love as much as our frustrations
Keep our hearts open and our souls on guard for eachother,
let the Glorious and true Agapi guide us and shape us,
let us reject and rebuke all evil that comes to break us
Let us break bread in communion,
let our love not be a measure of tolerance but of forgiveness and grace
Be merciful always and true to what we have as our inheritance as Sons and daughters of
The greatest love in all its forms twisted or righted
So that we become beacons of hope and share our glory in the Holy Realm of kinship and may we always return to our natural state of love, strength, respect, gratefulness and Joy in the name of the Most High
Forever and ever through the ages and so it is,
For it is written
I have loved theological
I have loved theological poetry since 1975, and this is definitely one of the best I have read in a long time. But, that fourth line is so powerful, so specific, and so profound that my words fail in its presence. I applaud your artistry in constructing the whole magnificent poem, but that fourth line is, for me, its centerpiece.
