do what all the others do 

I’ll  turn my cheek where ever you want to 

I’ll humbly disagree 

and I’ll pray for you peacefully 

you can take my pride 

i will wear your footprints 

and ridicule as my attire 

I will seek to understand you 

and I will pray you understand me

i will not judge you

I will not curse you

but I will resist with passion 

when you insist 

God is not here 

and God is not love 

you may replace God with all that you wish 

and still 

God loves you enough

to let you destroy yourself

if that be your will

here and after 

for faith is not fickle 

love is as cruel as it is kind 

freedom requires choice 

and I’ve made mine.
