Yeah- nah. But if only... yeah, nah.

This poems is written in way that shows us that we are all entitled to live with our values but have a respinsibilty not to cause pain or suffering or write laws that alienate people instead of unifying in the one common dream to live a life less ordinary. Bring back the working class and invest in small business growth to spread the weslth. tax less middle class and more business unless they provide excellent incentives for thier workers. It would be a start and reclaim universities to deliver courses relevant to job market tends. Bring back debate and compromise. It does not rhyme and its still poetry. Politics makes no sense and its still government. Go figure.

I applaud your tax plans.

I applaud your tax plans.  Congress needs to represent the working people again, and not just the wealthy political contributors, and the midterm elections could do that if we get the vote out.  Personally, I would like to see the Senate's power redistributed, so that it is less what I might call, tongue in cheek, a Son-of-a-Mitch.  I am less enthusiastic about the suggestion to reclaim universities.  Courses relevant to trends in the job market are, of course, very important . . . extremely important . . . but the teaching of courses that enhance appreciation of the arts, and the ability to research seems, to this old man, to be equally important.

It is equally important. But

It is equally important. But they aren't doing it. Instead they are programming a fearing new world like all ironies they call it the brave new world. The arts are my passion all types from written to performance, ephemeral and concrete. But I know for a fact how much barstardisation has taken place. And this PC victim mentality permeates. No good school of thought teaches anyone to hate themselves and where they came from all factors we as beings are not in control of. We are all equal under God even if you don't believe in God.

You state that very well.

You state that very well.  Admittedly, I was taking my own experience, which began forty-five years ago, as typical.  I apologize for being a bit too narrow.

Firstly

I love the title. Unity in the past was not, we comoromise and now, anoher backlash. Hope lives in saner minds unwilling to compromise. The world rules keep shifting. This is high civilization, inherently destined to fail, torn apart by entrophy. End game. Rome, Dynastic China, Imperial Russia, Mesopotamia, the British Empire, the French Empire, Pharoanic Egypt, Germany - walls tumbled. Not end if days, the ultimate evolution of greed and killing. We killed the eaeth (1850-now). Wish us luck as a species. Believe in miracles. It's gonna take one to get us outta this one.
