As my thoughts travel to you
but stars are too far
empty caves echo
darkness in your absence
now wrongly accused
Gaping holes swallow
Unfed by the need of you
infantile longings
the air escapes me
panic! I find you missing
no rock left unturned
where does the wind go?
Perhaps the same place you do?
Both starkly missing
unfilled air lacks words
heart songs still go un rendered
my heart is missing
these haiku are shit!
cant even write one for you

$100.00 that no one has every written the words "these haiku are shit" in haiku before. Some senses of humor are weird like mine - I laughed a bit at "my heart is missing" a double entendre: the meanings flutter one to other and back again. - cool write, extraordinary theme. - allets -
