Been tryin to figure myself out

for years now. 

Trying to be what everyone wanted

I've evolved in to quite a colourful camelion

or is that comedian?

I'd better ask someone, just to make sure.

You see I'm trying to be different to be me

everybody else is taken.

I'm still searching for myself.

Each new set of aquired values

layered over the next.

Another idenitity hiding over the last.

Gees its tight in here!

So this is what I am in the meantime;

a searcher of self,

an accidental mischeif maker

in charge of who i want to be.

Isn't that the whole thing?

How it all happens?

Then once you truly find your self,

you get bored of it and start all over again

never really realising,

you were exactly who you were meant to be

at that momement

because its you, filling a space in time; 

In that moment being what you chose.

The moment passed,

nothing can change it

because it happened just as it had

destined to be because it was.

But what do I really know?

Afterall,

I keep finding myself

But it never seems to fit for long,

I always want something better.

I wonder just who exactly decides,

what the best version is?
