She weeps into shallow pools
Of fragrant pollen scented water
To the future she could never have
Or the distant laughter expected
Her past love was floating there
In the moonlight reflection
Lily pads tether his torso
To the perspective grave
Tears splash from ripple to ripple
Disturbing the helpless water-fly
From starting his rotting feast
From growing his angel wings
From her hands she lets the dagger drop
It's tinted blade grooms the road
Clattering to a halt infront her toes
Clensed of her blood
And on her hand she lets the blood soar
Down onto gravel road
Through scented water
A bond that was broken
Now she is crowned bondless
Queen of the lily blood
Taken from our undying palms
And onto hers
With blood as a pact
And blood as a guide
She collects her tears
And walks on to the moonlight
