The Battle Where Fate Fell

Addicted (Denial)

I rode to the everlasting border

To see the calling flag

The impersonal sound

Of rivaly marching

Two sides and two choices

Two minds and 2 resolves

A set of choices and promises

Which one will be heard?

So march to the hills

And stand before your crown

Choose your side to be

And when you choose

Don't think of losing

You've become your destiny now

And here came the seargent

Dressed in pride and patriotism

Voicing his nation's lie

And he announced his pride

"Come you marchers

You sons of fallen hero's

Come avenge your fallen masters

You live for this today"

His call was met with much resolve

A thousand hands damaged the air

A wave of pride sent through the crowd

And I couldn't stop to agree

But one would challenge the call

A Deriled Captain stepped onto the fray

Uniformed and all

And shot his challenge thus

"You wane you fools

This is not your battle

See how you are not decieved

Fight the system and we will thrive"

With a move the seargent drew his tool

And the Captain fell with the leaves

Between the crowd the choice was made

And seperated the frey became

I fought a furious battle that day

The enemy now swaining before me

And only one thought was before me

What would my choice become

Had I finally swum the mainstream

Had I joined those ranks who didn't think

Had I become all that I didnt want to be

Did I really have a choice

Before the dawns whisper was out

The battle was drawn

The seargent stood before me

His words I would never forget

"Thousands have made this choice

Thousands will make this choice

Thousands are still making this choice

Thousands have yet to make this choice

But whichever way we go

Whatever life we seek

We cannot escape

The choices we have to make

So march to the hills

And stand before your crown

Choose your side to be

And when you choose

Don't think of losing

You've become your destiny now"
