I have searched for my identity
through dreams of the unknown;
desires of the flesh and bone...
Summer is almost gone,
"Have you found your home?"
Days of old are becoming today,
"How many sins must I commit to
be born again?"
If the forgiven are so, "Why carry
yourself with a rewind to a place
you were before?"
Where being alive had no meaning,
no cause, or reason!
Driven by the idea of invincibility;
in reality everyone knew your
business.
The story of my life was told through
my eyes, the hollow stare, soulless-
My ambition is success, love, and
prosperity; optimism keeps my
ambition alive.
Where will you be, when the leaves
fall in autumn?
Will you be searching for yourself still?
Finding Me? or are the conversations
with my shadow enough to feel alive,
sanity, and welcomed; maybe I have
found myself already; My Shadow...
