Twinkling little lights nestled in the hill to our west
Eyes deep whirlpool of blue, lids drooping, heavy head softly rests
On my shoulder, I adjust to soften the bone
Yesterday I realized you've become my home
Coming around the wheel to twenty two
Looking out at a haze of what's coming to you
I press my temple to yours with a seal
Hoping to take some of that weight off your wheel
Breathing that evens between us like an eclipse
And within that union is peaceful bliss
Nothing matters but to be alive
And here in your arms and you safe in mine
This is a beautiful love
This is a beautiful love poem.

Thank you Starward
What a joy to relish and bask
What a joy to relish and bask in to have someone and/or be someone's home.
And the vow, the pact, the covenant between the two is so uplifting, so encouraging.
Safe in each other's hold!
here is poetry that doesn't always conform
