Light

Folder:
Ooh

Your picture is in my pocket

And I take it out to see

If ever I could truly find

What beauty you found in me

For you claim to have found something

That made my life shine bright

So if I could look hard enough

Then find it, I just might.

I keep looking long and hard

To find out what is true

But all that seems clear to me

Is the beauty I find in you.

I've given up this search of mine

Because the truth I finally see

The light that made my life so bright

Was the light you shone on me.

This is such a great poem. I would love to meet a guy that felt like that, like you. This poem touched me, though that may sound rather sappy and pathetic it's true.

Wow, I would kill to meet a guy like you. This poem touched me...it was so incredibly endearing to know that a memeber of the opposite sex could feel this way. Maybe I haven't lost hope in the male species after all lol. Thanks for the comment on "Boys" by the way.
