You can’t just love me the way

that I love you



And why don’t you

Look at me the way I

Look at you



Why don’t your eyes

Light up when you

See me



And why do you

Never take the time

Out to call me



Why can’t you just stay

With me

Instead of walking away



And why can’t you just

Listen to me

even if

I have nothing to say



Why is it that I have to

Keep telling myself that you care



You said you cared

But if you did

Would I be asking you this…..
