I Want A Better God
God made Adam, then made Eve.
They broke one rule so had to leave.
Now all the little children are born in sin.
Say it's their fault and they can't win.
God will save a few then burn the rest.
That's all He gets when He gives His best.
Does He talk to you or kiss your face.
Answer one prayer, just incase?
Dare I say, this can't be good
I'm scared to even ask, like I should.
Do we teach what we're taught, saying it's from Him?
Let our light shine, no matter how dim?
Tell the old stories, how He made pagens die?
That God is love, though most will fry?
Is that not cruel and just too odd?
If it's all true then I want a better God.
