Winter Nights

I think that the dream unleashed

Came through in the form of little white flakes falling from heaven

The wind breezed by

Whipping over roofs

Stirring the mists of these little spirits

Falling gently to the ground

I felt wetness as they touch my skin

Lovely to know that they died from my touch

In masses of millions and trillions

They drifted softly

Calmly resting on the world

Whiteness

Almost a holy moment

Breathtaking

My eyes follow each to their demise

The world will wake tomorrow

With a lesser understanding of creation

And deeper envy to be alone

Caught in the snow

That came along in the night

And died by the light of the dawn

I love the way that you are so descriptive! It's a very deep and complex poem. I enjoyed reading it.
