Pale blue colored breezes
Uncontrollable masochistic sneezes
You frolicking in the Ivy
Naked dreams of unholy binding
Holding your breasts
Swirling in the mists
Bushes, trees, Cattails and other things such
Pull at your legs with such a touch
Smooth, pale, skin with stains
That you must keep secret-
And still they remain
Show us why your so mature
Painting yourself with leaves of
Red, yellow, brown décor
Feel the roots between your thighs
Planting themselves firmly in your mind
As my mind is slowly covered with mud
So do hands and wrists drench with blood
Moonbeams , sunbeams,
And little puppy dog smiles
White fluffy clouds and your neighbor says “hi”
Cracked faces, Disposable graces and then
Everyone cries…
Watching you stumble on tracks made before
But we all stand up and ask for more.
I give you a little of what you need or a lot if you beg and plead.
Don’t you like what you hear anymore?
Or should I just call you a whore?
The dream is mine and everything is fine…
The trees are swaying and the grass is not misbehaving
You lie there with you’re your plastic smile
Tingling of lust and denial
Dandelions, Roses and Honeysuckle vines.
Everything is there, just resting in time…
The world shudders under your touch
It cries, it screams for it knows too much
Everyone and everything has left you now
The tears, the laughter…now only a frown
It saddens me to see you like this
Maybe I should lean over and give you a kiss.
Push myself through so you can never leave!
I will make it more worth your while…
More than you could ever conceive.
I lock the door behind me and give you the key,
I got all that I wanted… for one little fee.
Wow!!! A very powerful piece, full of beautiful phrases & extreme imagery... Well said...well done... Amy
Gentle is the night♥
A very well writen poem overflowing with intense images. I love your style and your depth. I was directed to your page and I now see why. This is an excellent piece and I look forward to reading more. Thanks, Nancy
Hi, Steve! Great writing here. Seriously. I love the vivid descriptions that you lay out there. I had visions of "American Beauty" the movie going through my head while reading this. The subject almost tragic, a prostitute, yet you wrote about it so beautifully, elegantly, even. A friend of mine sent this piece to me, and I am so glad that he did! Looking forward to reading more!
