To know the truth

Gives pain I never thought I could have

Hurting inside, left in the dark

No one there to save me

All alone, cold and crying

Will there be one to unbind me

Please save me, please help me break free

Will someone just rescue me from this prison

Break these bonds, and take me away

To a place where I can fly

No more hate

No more shame

None of this lying deceit and crying

Take me away

To a place I’d like to say

Gives me warmth and comfort

I thought I could never have

For that place I call the heart

And all I want is to be yours
