I hear the screams from behind the police tape.
I see the heart break left on your face.
I taste the sadness in the tears.
I smell the blood that's left all around me.
I feel the coldness creeping in.
But I know I'll never be able to hear your laughter, see your smiles, smell your sweet cologne, feel your heart beating next to mine, or taste the love that's in your tasty creations 'cause I'm lying here on the ground,
inside this car filled with shattered glass and shattered dreams.
I had told you that I would love you forever when you told me that we should end this.
Amazing you never thought of it ending like this.
The last words I had said to you was that "without you, I would die."
So now it's just moments before I slip away.
I hope you understand that either way it had went, I love you and I'll never let our love go.
The coldness is here and it's time for me to go.
I look at you one last time to hear you say "I love you too and sorry it ended this way."
"taste the love that's in your tasty creations", is he a chef or something? LOL! Just kiddin' its a purrty good poem. Is it about somebody in perticular?
