The moment I walked up to you

You took my breath away

Your face was as pretty as a rose

And that's why I say today



You became a part of me

Before we said good-bye

And in these last five months

Not seeing you has made me cry



At night when I get on one knee

And say a prayer before bed

I think of the way my body went weak

And my face turned really red



You stole my heart and all my dreams

On that summer day so long ago to count

And in the way you looked at me

My love reached a higher amount



Your love came about over me

And I soaked it all in

I played and battled with the others

But your heart I did win



Even though you stole my heart
