The wise old tree, tall and knowing.

Mesmerizing me with his intricate beauty,

Honest, modest, and lily-white.

He teaches me the way things used to be,

And I learn.

Learn what a gallant and noble life it.

The tree says to me, "Listen, sapling, and listen well,"

And I do.

Do what a chivalrous and pure life is.

I asked the tree what it is to be true,

And he looked into my heart, saying follow what's here.
