Season’s Greedings

It was Christmas Eve
And all through the land
A powerful need
For material possessions
To post on feeds
And to feed obsessions
Pervaded the minds
And blinded the hearts
Of those consumed by greed.

It was Christmas Eve
And lacking from all homes
Was happiness and joy
For being amongst family
And in its stead there was
A black mist of a mood
Draped over the sleeping
Who still would not be satisfied
When every box was open.

It was Christmas Eve
And a time was recalled by one
When it was so much harder
And nothing was wasted
Nor taken for granted
For needs were hardly met.
When company of friends and family
Was all one needed and wanted
When it was Christmas Eve.

Merry christmas

There are 3 of us who are here for Christmas. We got one shared gift that is small yet very much appreciated by us all. We have no decoration. We hope to figure out a meal.

There will definitely be a fire in the woodstove. We remain grateful. Merry Christmas!

many blessings.

We'll just keep writing 'til there's nothing left to write.

We'll just keep waiting 'til they read all our works left to right.
