Beauty poses and a reclining chair
Bubbles that give all the love they can share
Anything shiney, and anything soft
To send our small minds eternally aloft
A cloud that twists and gracefully tangles
To let you see the sky from different angles
Another critter scatters across the grass
And a flower grows where a plane had crashed
Sprinkled with tragedy, showered with fate
One piece of paradise evades the state
Beautiful music, uninvited but clear
As another distraction falls into gear
A soothing voice and her gentle eyes
A warm embrace in a cold winter night
One way to escape our daily stress
And considering a cockroach your guest
A sarcastic joke between a few friends
The kind of day that feels as if there's no end
Forgetting the time, date and reason for light
And watching the sunset slowly fall out of sight.
Sleepy.
