Isn't it beautiful

How the sky falls like that



It's like god is crying

And the stars are his tears

With every falling star



Another planet fades

A glitch in the system

But the planets have aligned



And here I am, holding your hand

I find myself at a loss

My tongue and thoughts are tied



I can only stare at you

As we witness the very end

No matter how dire



This point in time cannot

Tear my feelings for you away

I don't feel panic, only warmth



I wish we could have met sooner

Or under a brighter sky

But this is not our final goodbye



We have only just met
