Changed
I've changed and it almost seems to late.
I understand why I can't be given a clean slate.
The hurt I've brought because of things in my life,
the many troubles and strife.
But I've always cared for all of you,
that so much is true and I still do.
You don't realize how much you mean to me
and that is what I want you to see.
I can certainly relate to this poem. It seems no matter what I do I always have to pay for the past. It's not fair because I have changed, a lot. Yet, it only takes one mistake to ruin a relationship whether it's fammily or not. Maybe, one of these days we can get a clean slate together.
