I journey through my home,
and see a million reminders
of all that I have lost.
I journey through the hold,
and wish I could take back what I said,
when my pain was at it's peak.
I sit here lost and alone,
remembering times gone by.
I shout my sorrow to the world,
hearing it echo through empty rooms,
it drowns out every sound.
My passions, my loves, my fun,
they all seem hollow
without good friends to share it.
So I sing the end to our song,
journeying off to the furthest peak,
where in the shadows I will sleep
with the ghosts of the friendship
that once meant so much to me.
