The more we talk, the more we share,
the more it feels I've found my best friend.
Different lifestyles, different lives,
and yet alike in our thoughts and desires.
I hear a whisper of song on the wind,
it tells me that my heart and cares are safe.
The song plays on,
a melody everchanging,
as we grow apart then back again.
Sometimes I wonder if you know
just how much
your friendship truly means to me.
Do you hear the song playing
as we while away the hours
talking til the sun comes up?
In my heart I thank my uncle
for bringing our two lives together.
I listen to the melody playing on the wind
and I know that truly
you are one of my closest friends.
