Five months ago you stole my heart
with a single careless comment
I'm sure I wasn't meant to overhear.
Five months ago you said you loved me
and my heart, broken and battered,
began to mend from pain before.
Five months ago I never would have guessed
we'd be where we are now.
Hold me in your arms forever
never let me run away.
The future plans we've made
call us to happiness.
So set aside your fears and doubts.
there's no reason to be jealous.
In your life I stand,
a part of your heart,
and here I'll stand
'til death do us part.
My beautiful angel,
my heart's other half.
in this cherished hour
I renew every promise I've made.
I promise I'll love you forever
with all that I am.
I promise I'll be right beside you
